In the beginning, was God. In the end, there will be God. He is perfect. He is Holy. Omniscient. Omnipresent. God always has been and always will be. He created everything in the world, and then said it is good. God made man in His own image. In HIS image He created them male and female.
Sin entered the world. Everyone sins. The price we should pay for our sin is death. Sin is anything we think, say, or do that breaks God’s heart or His commands. Our sin separates us from God. There is nothing that we can do that restores our relationship with Him.
The good news is though, that God didn’t leave us without a solution. God sent Jesus, his son, to die on the cross for our sin. Jesus is fully God and fully man. Jesus, while tempted to sin, lived a perfect life. While on earth He did great and miraculous things. When the Romans crucified Him, he was buried in a tomb with a massive stone rolled in front of it. On the third day, He rose again. When Jesus came out of that tomb, He conquered sin and death forever.
The Bible tells us that God demonstrates His love for us that while we were still sinners, He died for us. Salvation is the free gift from God. It doesn’t come from man. We can’t boast in it. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Salvation belongs only to the Lord. If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved.
God doesn’t expect us to “clean” our lives up before coming to Him. He wants us to come as we are and allow Him to change our hearts thus changing the way we live our lives.
The Bible is clear. The end will come. Jesus will return. Everyone on the earth will die. When we die, we will go to one of two places. If you know Jesus Christ as Lord, you spend eternity with Him. If you don’t know Him, you spend eternity in Hell.
Confessing faith in Jesus is the greatest thing that’s happened in my life. If there is one thing that I could share with the world… if there is one thing that I wish everyone could know… it would be that they come to know Christ as Lord.
